UCI will host the first California History Social Science Framework Conference on September 10, 2019 at the University of California, Irvine. This new and expanded conference will allow administrators and teachers to learn through interactive and engaging presentations from educators across the state on how to best implement the new Framework. Following a plenary on the State of History-Social Science, attendees have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the instructional shifts outlined in California’s History-Social Science (HSS) Framework, including new content and disciplinary strategies developed to improve critical thinking.
